Privacy POLICY
Overview •
Any Legal Robot ("the App") is a private automation operated by Any Legal Robot ("the operator") for the operator's own use. The App accesses only the operator's own Google account data, using OAuth credentials the operator personally authorizes. There are no other users, no accounts, and no third-party data subjects.
Google user data the App accesses •
- Gmail (
gmail.modify): reads messages and their metadata and modifies labels and read/unread state. The App does not permanently delete mail. - Google Sheets (
spreadsheets): reads and writes rows in the operator's own ledger spreadsheet. - Google Drive (
drive.file): creates PDF files in specific folders the App is configured to use. This scope grants access only to files the App itself creates or opens; the App cannot see the operator's other Drive files.
How the App uses this data •
Google user data is used solely to provide the operator's own automation. It is not used for advertising, analytics profiling, or to train, fine-tune, or improve any machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model, and it is never sent to any external AI service by the App.
How the App shares this data •
The App does not sell Google user data and does not transfer it to third parties, except as strictly required to provide the operator's own features, to comply with applicable law, or to protect against security threats.
Limited Use disclosure. Any Legal Robot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, the App: limits its use of Google user data to providing the operator's user-facing features; does not transfer or sell that data for serving ads, for training generalized AI/ML models, or to data brokers; and does not allow humans to read the data except with the operator's consent, for security, to comply with law, or as strictly necessary to operate the App.
Storage and security •
The App runs on the operator's own device. OAuth credentials are stored encrypted locally with owner-only file permissions and are never committed to source control, logged, or shared. No copy of the operator's Google data is retained by the App beyond what is needed to complete a task; the files it produces live in the operator's own Sheets and Drive.
Retention, deletion, and revoking access •
Files created by the App remain in the operator's own Google account until the operator deletes them. The operator can revoke the App's access at any time from Google Account → Data & privacy → Third-party apps & services. Revoking access immediately stops all further data access; locally stored credentials can then be deleted by the operator.
Changes to this policy •
This policy may be updated as the App changes. The effective date above reflects the current version.
